Stephanie is a documentary filmmaker originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. Having worked as a street medic, domestic violence crisis counselor, and social worker before beginning a career in film, her work is largely informed by her past experiences in the social service sector. Recently, her films and photographs have been shown in a variety of contexts, including the Carpenter Center for Visual Arts at the Harvard Film Archive, the Center for Oral History at West Point, UnionDocs Center for Documentary Art, and XLR8R magazine. Stephanie graduated with Highest Honors from the University of California, Berkeley, and currently works as a Public Information Specialist at the International Organization for Migration's Iraq Mission in Amman, Jordan
