Joshua Lin graduated from Columbia University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in French and Francophone Studies. He received his master's degree in Social Policy from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016. He joined Research for Action (RFA), a nonprofit education research firm based in Philadelphia, in 2016 as a Research Analyst. At RFA, Josh contributes both qualitative and quantitative analyses to a variety of projects, including a study on the cost of charter school expansion in Pennsylvania, and a study of English Language Learners for RFA’s Philadelphia Education Research Consortium. Prior to his work at RFA, Josh worked as a College Access Counselor at the Thurgood Marshall Academy for Learning and Social Change and was a 2013 Humanity in Action Fellow.
